Lenovo Yoga 3 14-Inch Review

Lenovo Yoga 3 14-Inch Review-Yoga 3 14 looks like a standard clamshell thin and light, but two hinges allows you to rotate the screen 360 degrees, turning it into a tablet. The latest is a screen size of 14 inches, which is all the more impressive because Lenovo squeezed into a body roughly the size of the 13.3-inch models. Not an Intel Core M is found in Pro, you get a choice of a fifth-gen Intel Core i5 or Core i7 (Broadwell). Performance Pro with Core M under whelming as the battery system. That does not happen here with

Design and Features

Lenovo Yoga 3 14 is not thin or light or as stylish as some of the competition or yoga 3 Pro. At 18.3mm (0.7 inches) and 1.7kg (£ 3.7), it is still a lot of portable, though. Extra work space certainly exists, especially in the body that looks and feels more like a 13-inch laptop. 1,920x1,080 pixel resolution makes text and graphics look sharp, and it's an IPS panel. Unfortunately, the screen just does not get very bright. That would not be so bad if the screen glare is handled well, but did not. While turning off the system features adaptive brightness helps some, in the end anyone who needs to use it regularly outdoors might want to pass.

The keyboard is spacious and generally nice to type on, although I found it a bit spongy and there are some slight flex in the middle. Also, the vertical line to match the Home, End, Page Up and Page Down keys, Lenovo shrink the Enter key and right Shift. Touch typists may need some time to adjust. Backlit keyboard, too, but only has two settings: on or off. At the bottom of the left and right you will find a small speaker. They sound obvious, certainly good enough for casual listening in a quiet environment. They are not very hard, even if you fold the keyboard back behind the screen so that they run. For the enjoyment of movies and music, you better hooking some headphones or a set of external speakers. I know this sounds like a lot of warnings and, well, it is. But, for me, none of them are real deal breakers or very frustrating that prevents me from using or enjoying Yoga 3 14. The brightness of the screen will be the biggest problem, especially if you plan to frequently use outside.

Connection, Battery Life and Performance

Although larger and thicker than the Pro version, Lenovo uses the same port manifold for the two models. These include Micro-HDMI video output that will require both male HDMI cable Micro-to-full-size or dongle with male Micro-HDMI and a full-size HDMI female. Lenovo Yoga 3 14-inch also has a USB 2.0 port that serves as the power input, both good and bad. This gives you more functionality than laptop power jack independent and, because the cable is removed from the power adapter, the adapter can be used for charging other USB devices. Required a special USB cable for charging, however, and are included only 6 feet long; planning for cable packaging to achieve again. Battery life comes in 8 hours and 5 minutes of video playback. The harder you drive the system and you set the display brighter, less your battery will last.
